The committee on verification of workers in Enugu State is pleased to inform you of an important update regarding the ongoing online verification exercise for the staff of Enugu State Civil Service, State Parastatals, ESUBEB, Tertiary Institutions, and State Pensioners. This exercise is designed to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our Payroll and Pension records.
Details of the Verification Exercise:
Every eligible staff and pensioner under the mentioned categories is expected to visit the online portal www.enugustate.live to begin the process. You are to use your salary or pension bank account number and your verification code for sign-up. This verification code can be obtained from the Office of the Head of Service by a designated MDA Payroll Officer. The detailed guideline for the exercise is also hosted on the website; please download and study it before you start the process.
Extension of Online Verification Period:
The online verification exercise, which commenced on the 7th of May 2024, has now been extended to the 9th of June 2024. Please note that there will be no further extension beyond this date. This extension is to accommodate the staff whose salary account numbers are domiciled with the microfinance bank. Though we have received some submissions, complete information is still pending.
Microfinance Bank Account Holders:
If you have a salary or pension account with a microfinance bank, please be aware that the government has requested your 10-digit account number from the bank. Some banks have sent in their customer details last week, while others are still being awaited. Until we receive this information, you won’t be able to proceed with your exercise. We ask for your patience; the information will be provided soon.
Required Documents:
The following documents MUST be uploaded to the website in PDF format during the verification process:
For Civil Servants:
• Letter of First Appointment
• Proof of Date of Birth
• Confirmation of Appointment Letter
• Gen. 35 (Notification of most recent promotion)
